LETTER FROM THE SECRETARIAT

Dear delegates and esteemed faculty members,
 

We are proud to invite you all to the 3rd Edition of inter-school ShriMUN. This conference is our school’s most action-packed flagship event. We offer a platform for delegates to portray their mettle of debating and deliberate on problems around the world and issues within India. At ShriMUN this year, we are providing delegates across the world a forum to excel in the field of debate and discussion in the field of politics and human interaction. The theme for this year’s conference is “The Last Bastion of Diplomacy - A Pact for Humanity’s Future,” which stands self-explanatory with respect to the state of politics and global human interaction in contemporary times.
 

Human agreements and interaction work differently in theory and practice. It is essentially a basic human activity, and being well-resourced and skilful in communication and expressing your opinion are major ingredients of power. Its chief purpose is to enable states to explain their purpose and clearly communicate its motives. Together with the balance of power, which it both reflects and reinforces, human agreements are the most important institution of our society of states.​
